Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of experience as a program manager within Product, Sales, or Marketing organizations
- Experience in managing product operations with a strong emphasis on hardware, including experience with New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A dedicated team player who excels at enabling others to perform at their best
- A passion for engaging with and learning from customers
- A self-starter with a high level of motivation to exceed expectations
- Expertise in data analysis and manipulation using SQL or other tools (e.g., Salesforce, Excel)
- Proven experience in driving projects end-to-end and fostering collaboration across organizations at all levels.Experience working effectively with remote or offshore teams
What the job involves
- The fundamental goal of Product Operations is to ensure we create the right products to move our business forward. Product Operations works closely with cross-functional partners to surface needs, prioritize, test, roll out, and iterate on products
- As we continue to expand our suite of products on top of our massive network of devices, we are looking for a talented Product Operations Manager who can take our Hardware portfolio to the next level
- You will be tasked with identifying and executing opportunities for product growth, process improvement and automation, and sales and marketing insights
- You will be charged with changing how we tackle customer requests to make them more data-driven, efficient, and create a bigger impact
- You will work closely with product managers and stakeholders from sales, marketing, and engineering teams to help drive rapid company growth
- In addition, you will oversee a range of strategic and operational responsibilities as part of Motive's New Product Introduction and lead our Early Access programs for hardware products

- Define, implement, and optimize processes to streamline our product development lifecycle, increasing team efficiency and capacity

- Develop comprehensive product rollout plans and manage their implementation
- Track and analyze core business metrics related to product performance.Identify and advocate for key business insights to inform product enhancements
- Lead and manage Beta programs for hardware testing, ensuring rigorous testing protocols and effective feedback loops with customers
- Coordinate with key partners across the company to prepare for new product launches and maximize their impact

Trucking is a huge but fragmented industry that was largely ignored by Silicon Valley until companies such as Motive (formerly KeepTruckin) came along. The integrated fleet management platform acts as air traffic control for trucks, bringing drivers online and into the 21st century.
The company offers both hardware and software solutions to freight companies, allowing them to manage their fleet and keep their drivers safe. One of these solutions is an AI-powered dashcam that detects unsafe driving behavior in real time and instantly alerts the driver.
