Role
Who you are
- At least 3+ years of experience in full-cycle, high-volume recruitment of exempt sales roles, preferably in the Construction industry or similar Operations industries
- Strong knowledge of job boards, sourcing tools and other candidate messaging platforms including LinkedIn, Indeed/Glassdoor and Grayscale
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Greenhouse
- Knowledge of productivity software, database management, and internet search methods including boolean searches
- Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, video, email, in-person)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field preferred
- Ability to travel when required (less than 10%)
What the job involves
- EquipmentShare is searching for a Remote (preference for East or Central Time Zone) Regional Recruiter to support our Talent Acquisition as the department continues to grow
- This role has a specific focus in hiring for a combination of high-volume non-exempt and exempt EquipmentShare branch positions (Heavy Equipment Mechanics, CDL drivers, Rental Coordinators, Service Managers and more) across the nation
- Responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting across an assigned region or vertical. Be a subject matter expert for your roles and market
- Develop relationships with managers to build awareness of their departments, hiring needs, and job specifications
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of quality passive candidates
- Screen resumes and manage candidates throughout hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation
- Meet or exceed recruiting KPIs including including time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire
- Help to maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, and other designations
- Must collaborate with other Talent team members and onboarding team to finalize offer process
- Consistently ensure that recruiting practices are in compliance with current legal standards
- Collaborate with team on future hiring processes and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Our take
Innovation in automated equipment presents opportunities for increased efficiency for contractors, but this comes at a huge financial cost. Furthermore, whilst this equipment is often highly valuable for the completion of a contractor task, equipment may remain unused for a significant time after task completion.
EquipmentShare provides a telematics platform for contractors called ES Track, a service that facilitates the rental of under-utilized equipment. This is achieved by using the software to determine usage statistics of a piece of equipment, providing insights on financial opportunities a contractor may have in terms of equipment rental.
In addition to presenting itself as the ‘Airbnb of contract equipment’, the company presents further potential by focusing on transforming existing equipment to be fully autonomous. 2023 funding is being used to expand its reach, and in combination with providing rental insights, EquipmentShare’s approach is uniquely focused on finding money-saving opportunities for contractors.
