Who you are

Are you a creative, innovative and engaging communicator with a love of skincare and have your finger on the pulse of all things social
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager with a passion for beauty - and the skills to take our social media to new heights!
Do you spend hours each week on TikTok, have more saved posts on Instagram than you can remember and live for the next big trend
Experienced in bringing those trends to life and creating content that connects
If you’re passionately shouting out YES to the above, then you could be just the person we’re looking for
Highly motivated, creative, and organised with an enthusiasm for connecting with people
Confident presenter, you must be happy to appear in our social content and present often to senior stakeholders
At least 5-7 years' experience in social media management (must have experience in the beauty industry)
Must have experience managing a large account with 150k+ followers and have a track record of growing their channels
A love of driving customer engagement, with the goal of turning browsers into customers and customers into advocates
Strong attention to detail – with a keen eye for spelling and grammar
A strong creative eye with a solid understanding of social media best practices and content
Experience launching/running a TikTok shop would be a huge advantage

What the job involves

You will be an advocate of the Tropic brand, our products, our values and mirror our passion to be a force for good, beyond beauty
Reporting to our Marketing Director, you’ll be helping amplify our mission to help create a healthier, greener, and more empowered world
Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance engagement and conversions across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube
Spearhead growth initiatives and campaigns to elevate Tropic Skincare's social presence
Key focus on TikTok growth: Lead the TikTok channel strategy, with a focus on launching and optimising TikTok Shop in the UK
Lead the social content creation strategy, including developing content that supports the brand's message and engages, educates, and entertains the audience
Collaborate across departments to integrate social media with broader marketing, PR, and corporate initiatives
Manage the social media team and projects, fostering a collaborative environment among our team of coordinators, designers, copywriters, and community managers
Directly supervise and develop the Social Media Coordinator and ensure alignment of content creation, scheduling, and performance reporting
Conduct market analysis and manage social SEO to enhance content discoverability and drive traffic
Regularly analyse social media performance to adapt and refine strategies, reporting results and insights to senior stakeholders

Design interactive features and manage community interactions to boost user engagement, building a sense of community spirit
Support the customer support team with community management and give guidance for customer interactions
Develop and enforce protocols for social media crisis management to safeguard and promote the brand's reputation
