Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience as a Mobile QA Engineer
- In-depth knowledge of test design principles, methodologies, and best practices specific to mobile applications
- Expertise in using bug tracking systems and managing defect life cycles
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Advanced experience with API testing, including websockets and Rest API, with a strong ability to debug and troubleshoot issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Proficient knowledge of SQL and SQL databases architecture for database verification and data validation
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
Desirable
- Experience with mobile application test automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based testing services for mobile applications (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack) and integrating them into the testing process
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team
What the job involves
- Perform manual testing of mobile applications for iOS and Android
- Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Document defects and track their resolution
- Interact with development teams to discuss requirements and clarify details
- Participate in the review of requirements and project documentation
- Conduct regression testing before releases
- Support and improve existing testing processes
