Role
Who you are
- A strong foundation (4+ years) of financial modeling, planning, forecasting, and analyzing financial and operational data
- A familiarity with GAAP accounting
- Experience with consumer/branded companies and e-commerce/digital marketing business models
- Expertise in modeling within Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint presentations
- Investment banking and/or MBA a plus
- Experience in a start-up environment a plus
- A great team player with a can-do attitude
- Tableau / SQL experience would be nice to have

- We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a temporary role where you will support the key business functions to drive profitable growth
- You will play a critical role in developing the financial forecasting for all channels, developing analytical insights, and evaluating strategic business decisions
- In this role you will be managing forecasting models, along with implementing and revising processes to support our overall planning activities
- Report to our Sr. Director of Finance
- Collect, analyze, and report on COGS components like product cost, shipping expense, 3PL, duty, and inbound freight
- Track COGS trends, identifying variances from budget/forecast, and explaining key drivers behind changes
- Generate financial reports by collecting, formatting, and analyzing relevant information and data sets
- Collaboration with other departments (e.g., operations, supply chain, accounting) to gather necessary data for forecasts and budgets
- Ability to independently analyze large datasets, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support decision-making
- Partner in monthly accounting activities, and prepare monthly budget vs. actual reports and variance analysis
- Continuous improvement on our planning and analysis processes, tools, and reporting

Sustainability is a feature that is highly sought after in today's fashion landscape, but premium clothing often fails to meet these interests. Beyond this, the few available sustainable alternatives are usually difficult to wash, maintain and recycle - which is what Rothy hopes to change.
Rothy designs accessories that simultaneously aim to be fashionable, durable, and eco-friendly. Its main focus is shoes, though it also sells bags and purses in a range of styles. Whilst companies have been using sustainable materials in fashion for many years, Rothy stands out for catering to an environment-conscious audience that does not want to compromise comfort and quality for their ethical decisions.
With sustainability concerns on the rise among consumers, Rothy's target market is growing year on year. This, combined with the comfort-first image it has accrued, should present plenty of opportunity for growth in the company's future.
