Who you are

2-5 years of experience in a full cycle or post-sale support capacity partnering with customers of insurance or B2B SaaS products
Demonstrated excellence supporting customers through the full digital B2B Product journey (implementation, product education, technical support, billing, Etc.)
Knack for disqualifying misaligned prospective partners while prioritizing efforts On new partners that will maximize growth
Aptitude to resolve customer issues of both technical and transactional nature
Ability to thrive in a startup environment - effectively adapting to changes, collaborative problem solving, excellent follow-through and collaboration, positive can-do attitude

What the job involves

Qualify prospective insurance agencies, ensuring they will act as collaborative partners that confidently and profitably exceed production requirements
Drive appointment process of qualified agencies, minimizing contracting and setup time while accelerating path to production
Onboard and develop new agency partner relationships, leading agency Onboardings and extending to existing producer trainings
Conduct business reviews with agency Principals, identifying opportunities to Improve efficiency and profitability while driving enhanced growth
Troubleshoot and resolve partner issues of both technical and transactional nature
Solicit feedback from Producers as to how our technology platform and insurance coverages can better meet their needs, and work with our Product team to make those enhancements a reality
Parlay Producer relationships and value-adds into additional sales opportunities

Our take

With many real estate insurers relying on a generalised approach, homeowners and landlords often have to pick up the slack when it comes to complex and serious claims. Plus, insuring properties against rising costs in the US means many insurers simply won't cover a large portion of homes.

Honeycomb Insurance aims to remedy these real estate coverage issues using AI and computer vision to quantify insurance claim costs. It analyses aerial photographs of building roofs and street-level shots to analyse quality and risk, thus removing the need for expensive physical inspections. This means the company can accurately underwrite risks in a fraction of the time, and deliver a better service to more consumers.

The value of this offering is showcased by Honeycomb's expansion to operate across 16 states. It now covers around 60% of the US market and has over $20 billion in assets under its belt. A substantial Series B round in 2024 will help it grow into new insurance markets and accelerate its AI-powered tech, as it aims to triple this asset value by 2025.
