Role

Who you are

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on charging and billing systems
  • Strong background in software engineering and architecture, particularly within the context of financial systems
  • In-depth understanding of charging and billing processes, including real-time processing and integration with other systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail in ensuring the accuracy of billing systems
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts related to charging and billing to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor of Science degree – in relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience managing software development projects
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on leadership of complex software development project delivery initiatives using industry standard toolsets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing the requirements of the customer with a defined product release schedule using the resources available

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements related to charging and billing processes and translate them into scalable and efficient technical solutions
  • Design and architect end-to-end charging and billing solutions, considering factors such as real-time processing, scalability, and integration capabilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing charging and billing systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and proposing innovative solutions to improve overall efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead the development and maintenance of architectural standards specifically tailored to charging and billing systems, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance standards
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development life cycle, emphasizing best practices in charging and billing system architecture
  • Work closely with product managers to contribute technical insights and ensure that architectural decisions align with the charging and billing product roadmap
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and customer feedback, incorporating insights into the charging and billing system architecture
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that align with our charging and billing product strategy, staying current with industry advancements
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, scalability, and maintainability, specifically within the context of charging and billing systems
  • Mentor and coach software engineers within the charging and billing domain, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
