- Extensive experience managing and building well-loved products in a B2C context

- Proven track record in building collaborative partnerships across multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience partnering with data science teams and leveraging machine learning models to improve and scale the user experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization

What the job involves
- Chief is seeking an experienced Product Leader to lead the product, design, and research teams responsible for Chief’s portfolio of digital products
- Primarily your role will be to lead the product strategy and roadmap for our suite of digital Community products while also partnering with the business leads for Core and Programming to drive the digital enablement of those services
- This role is critical to setting the strategic direction for our digital products, organizational structure of our product team, and will report directly to the Chief Product & Experience Officer
- Drive the cohesive product strategy and direction for Chief’s digital products
- Build, grow, and lead a team of product managers, designers, and researchers
- Identify new opportunities and areas of investment to build innovative products
- Define product roadmaps and execution strategies leveraging insights, data, and business needs
- Define clear measurable goals to ensure teams are set up for success
- Build deep relationships with partner teams (e.g., Learning & Development, Programming, Clubhouses, Data, Software Engineering) to drive alignment on strategy and execution
- Drive best practices to guide the team and establish ways of working

C-Suite, senior executives, and accomplished VPs are evaluated for membership based on seniority, professional experience, background, and impact, as well as a demonstrated history of supporting others along the way.
As of the start of 2023, 53 of the Fortune 500 companies had female CEOs - the first time ever that women have represented over 10% of this group. Women are also drastically underrepresented when it comes to leading funded startups, which is where the need for a community like Chief's comes from.
Chief's has over 20,000 members from organizations including the likes of Google, Nike, HBO, Pfizer, and Disney. It achieved unicorn status in 2021 and continues to make impressive moves such as the launch of "Chief Enterprise" for businesses looking to invest in their women leaders. That said, it has also seen its fair share of controversy over alleged discriminatory actions towards minority members, which it will need to properly address is it is to continue claiming a DEI-first mission.
