Senior Java Backend Engineer, Conduktor

• You must have worked with a JVM based language, one of Java, Kotlin or Scala
• You have familiarity with Object Oriented and Functional software paradigms
• You have some familiarity with cloud based deployments and Docker / Kubernetes
• You have worked with some aspects of Apache Kafka in production

• We are looking for a mission-driven and capable Engineer, who is eager to be part of our product engineering team in bringing our vision to life for our customers
• On a day-to-day basis, you'll be working across our main products which are used by thousands of developers to explore their data and solve their challenges when working with Apache Kafka
• Using this tech stack: Java, Scala, Kafka
• Ideating and implementing interesting features for our customers
• Working and collaborating with our Product team to ensure our customer experience is flawless
• Working with our front end teams (React / Typescript) using Rest, GraphQL and OpenAPI to ensure seamless integration with our UX
• Working with our Customer Success team to ensure our systems are operationally robust for the most mission critical customer requirements, and manageable at enterprise scale
• Bringing your engineering experience to improve our overall code quality, tools and processes. Actively contributing to the development of best practices within the team is important to us as we are always open to new ways of working
