Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in an SDR/BDR role working both inbound and outbound prospecting sequences in the technology space
- Demonstrate tenacity, grit, and resilience when faced with adverse conditions
- You have experience handling and owning relationships with mid-market customers
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- You have experience navigating Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other prospecting applications
- You are an enthusiastic, energetic team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- You are known for your strong work ethic and hunter mentality
- You desire to build something new that can change the world, versus fitting neatly into a large company with an established static playbook
- You are a competitor with a thirst for success and a can-do attitude
- You enjoy problem solving and can demonstrate an ability to develop creative ideas to address new opportunities or challenges you face
- You will be naturally good at managing your time and balancing a number of conflicting priorities
- You are fearless on the telephone and will use guile and smarts to navigate prospects to get to the right person
- You will have a strong morale compass and apply your values to the way we conduct business with new prospects and existing clients
What the job involves
- We are looking for an exceptional Emerging Account Executive to join our growing team in the UK&I business. In this role, you will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close. Success in this role over the next 2 years would open up the opportunity for progression into more senior new business and account management sales roles
- Running discovery calls with new prospective customers
- Execute outbound campaigns to generate self-sourced pipelines
- Meet and exceed annual and quarterly sales targets
- Win New Logo accounts in the sub-500 employee segment
- Account Managing some existing customers to expand their platform usage by expanding into new departments and new use cases
- Build a deep understanding of the Workato platform and key customer use-cases along with references and business benefit validation points
- Understand customer needs and requirement
- Be a company builder - i.e. consistently seek opportunities to grow Workato’s business
- Share best practices and original thinking back into the organization
- Maintain accurate records in key business systems such as Salesforce, Outreach and Boostup
