Who you are
- An experienced professional with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with the cloud, physical, on-premises infrastructure or other enterprise technology
- A strong, collaborative people manager with a minimum of 3+ years of second-line leadership experience

What the job involves
- Vantage is looking for an experienced VP of Marketing to be based out of our NYC office. This person will be the single-threaded leader for all marketing activities at Vantage
- Vantage has a solid foundation present already with hundreds of companies signing up every month organically inbound. We’re looking for a leader to drive multiples on what we already have in place to scale a best-in-class marketing organization, develop and coach our existing team and recruit for gaps in our current marketing organization
- The VP of Marketing will be a member of the executive team alongside CEO, CTO, VPs of Sales and People
- Create highly differentiated go-to-market strategy with key stakeholders to strengthen our customer engagement across all products
- Drive efficient top-of-funnel acquisition of qualified new leads
- Drive traffic to our web properties
- Manage and develop our growth, content marketing and product marketing management individual contributors
- Recruit across product marketing, content marketing, community and performance marketing functions
- Define the processes, workflows and infrastructure by which the Marketing teams function and to ensure we can effectively deploy products at scale
- Empower the team - clearly articulate goals for success by providing resources and direction for them to execute
- Set the prioritization framework, KPIs, and mindset for our Product Marketing function. Coach, mentor, and scale a team of managers and individual contributors

As the price of cloud computing continues to rise, many businesses are paring back their budget to focus on cloud infrastructures, which in turn has slowed the growth of many cloud-computing companies. However, we are now in the cloud era, and demand for its services is higher than ever. There is now an opportunity for startups to create their own innovative cloud solutions to meet the ever-evolving needs of organisations.
Leveraging this market opportunity is Vantage, a New York City startup helping businesses better understand their cloud infrastructure spending. Born out of the idea of building a better AWS dashboard, Vantage now supports users across multiple service providers, allowing them to track and save their cloud costs in one place.
Vantage has seen an influx of large enterprise users, along with the success of a 2023 funding round, laying the foundations for a better service for its growing customer base. Viewing the growth of its customer base as a challenge, Vantage is looking to step things up and grow its name even further with a series of product launches in 2023.
