Senior Android Design Technologist, Instacart

• 5+ years of experience in Android app UI development
• Practical knowledge and experience using Jetpack Compose
• Effective in developing native mobile applications with accessibility in mind
• Strong communication and written skills
• Solid understanding of fundamental design principles and high attention to detail in UI implementation
• An exceptionally collaborative approach towards working with design and engineering teams

• The Instacart Design Team is dedicated to making grocery shopping effortless for everyone and finding solutions to large-scale opportunities that will forever change the way people feed themselves and their loved ones
• The Design System team works to create reusable components and patterns that enable feature teams to build consistent, high-quality user experiences quickly and efficiently
• Develop our next version of Instacart Design System’s Android components
• Provide elegant, simple solutions that help engineers create great experiences at high velocity
• Collaborate with engineering peers to design elegant and consistent component APIs
• Focus on the details of developer experience to make using the Instacart Design System absolutely frictionless
• Engage with designers daily to co-create the best possible components and patterns
• Support Instacart's Android engineering team with best-in-class documentation/support
