• We are seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to the advancement of robot perception in an exciting internship opportunity
• As a Perception Engineering Intern, you will help scale our pose evaluation benchmark and data analysis tooling
• This is critical for evaluating Intrinsic’s AI driven perception stack and ensuring we are production-ready for a wide range of real world applications
• You will play a key role in reducing the marginal cost and effort required for new applications
• This internship will involve collecting and annotating data representative of real world industrial applications, as well as improving our semi automatic annotation tooling to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
• You will work with a large dataset of annotated part instances and contribute to expanding it significantly
• Scale the pose evaluation benchmark to include a large variety of different geometries
• Collect and annotate a large dataset of part instances for evaluating Intrinsic’s AI driven foundation models for 6DOF object pose estimation
• Improve the annotation tooling to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Contribute to the development of production-ready perception pipelines for various industrial applications
• Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in modern software development practices
