What the job involves
- VP of Engineering reporting directly to Co-Founder and CEO Tarun Thakur, the VP of Engineering will:
- Scale the engineering organization from 80 to 300+ team members while ensuring innovation velocity and resource optimization—expanding existing teams and building new ones where needed
- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering management bench, including engineering managers and technical directors, with a focus on short-term execution, product innovations, long-term mindset and do-it mindset
- Implement best-in-class engineering processes and workflows that support efficient development, on-time product delivery, high-quality deliverables, and hands-on management of customers
- Drive engineering teams to deliver critical technical milestones that enable product expansion, meet evolving customer requirements, and support seamless scalability during hyper-growth
- Foster a strong, inclusive engineering culture rooted in innovation, collaboration, and accountability
- Define and track key performance metrics and create transparent career development paths to support retention and long-term team success
- Cross-functional collaboration to partner deeply and align with product teams, CS teams, support teams, and other functional groups. Managing expectations and priorities effectively within a fast paced and competitive environment
