That said, Plum has certainly found its place, with over a million users having downloaded the app. It was also voted Best Personal Finance App at the 2023 British Bank Awards, a testament to its popularity.

After strong performance leading to more than 2 million users across 10 European markets, Plum secured Series B funding which will be used to strengthen its UK product offering. Plum has ambitious plans for the rest of Europe too, having recently launched ETFs for EU customers and partnered up with Eurobank company. Other developments on the platform include the addition of "Watchlists" and "Price Alerts", two features that aim to further empower people by delivering smart notifications and portfolio control.
