Account Executive, GovWell

• At least 3 years of experience closing complex software deals
• Strong listener and communicator, able to uncover customer needs from imperfect information and clearly articulate value
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deals, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously
• Self-directed and motivated, comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving processes

Desirable

• GovWell is hiring an Account Executive to help scale our go-to-market motion with local governments across the United States. This role is responsible for owning full-cycle sales opportunities, building strong relationships with city and county leaders, and consistently closing high-impact deals
• Own the full sales cycle for cities and counties across the U.S., from initial discovery through close
• Close new logo deals that are $20-50K ACV through complex multi-stakeholder sales processes of 2-3 months
• Run effective discovery conversations to understand government workflows, constraints, and decision-making processes
• Lead product demonstrations and manage multi-stakeholder buying processes typical of public-sector sales
• Travel as needed to meet late-stage prospects and represent GovWell at industry conferences and events
• Contribute to improving sales messaging, process, and execution through iteration and feedback from the field
• Partner closely with leadership, product, and customer teams to deliver a strong end-to-end customer experience
• This role will not be responsible for sourcing their own leads
