Digital marketing performance data was siloed across an ever-expanding range of platforms and channels.
Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar role supporting SaaS or technology sales
- Strong understanding of data analytics, APIs, and integrations, with an ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Experience demoing AI-powered tools or automation workflows a strong plus
- Familiarity with digital marketing, AdTech, or MarTech ecosystems, including data pipelines and reporting workflows
- Proven project management skills - you can manage multiple sales cycles, priorities, and stakeholders with confidence
- Proficiency in relevant tools such as SQL, APIs, marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, GA4), and BI tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- A proactive mindset with curiosity for AI, automation, and next-generation marketing data technologies
- A balance of technical depth and business acumen - you can think strategically and explain simply
- A passion for helping customers see the “aha!” moment during product demos
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing fast-paced sales processes

What the job involves
- As a Sales Engineer at NinjaCat, you’ll serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor throughout the sales process, helping prospective customers understand how NinjaCat’s platform can solve their most complex data and reporting challenges
- You’ll partner with Account Executives to deliver compelling product demonstrations, architect tailored solutions, and showcase how NinjaCat’s data transformation suite and AI capabilities work together to automate, integrate, and elevate marketing performance reporting
- This role blends technical acumen, customer empathy, and strong project management skills
- You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Technical Services to ensure seamless handoffs and a world-class experience from discovery through implementation
- Partner with Sales to uncover customer goals and design solutions that align with their data, analytics, and reporting needs
- Deliver dynamic product demos highlighting NinjaCat’s core platform, AI agents, and automation workflows
- Translate customer requirements into actionable solution designs, technical proposals, and proof-of-concept plans
- Demonstrate and explain how NinjaCat’s AI agents complement our data transformation suite—including data ingestion, aggregation, and visualization tools
- Manage multiple sales projects simultaneously with precision, ensuring timely follow-ups, clear documentation, and coordination across teams
- Collaborate with Product and Technical Services to address complex technical questions, integrations, and API workflows
- Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging AI innovations to sharpen your demo strategy and technical credibility
Our take
Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has soared with the growth of advertising networks and the wider use of the internet. However, while an important tool for marketing teams, digital marketing performance data was typically siloed across an ever-expanding range of platforms and channels. That made it near-impossible for marketing teams to conduct proper performance management.
NinjaCat's platform allows teams to aggregate, store, report, monitor, analyze and visualize data at scale changed that. Crucially the platform offers both automation features, greatly simplifying performance management while remaining deeply customisable for different budgets and metrics.
The startup has done a great job of delivering true performance management to teams relying on PPC campaigns. However, after raising more capital, the startup’s next stage of growth is all about going further. That means visualizing complex marketing data at scale enhanced by AI capabilities to deliver true marketing intelligence. It's an ambitious vision. Having said that, the team has so far consistently proven that they can lead the market in unifying complex and siloed data sources for marketing teams.
