Role
Who you are
- You’re an ambitious BDR, having worked in high-growth companies at startup, scale-up and hyper-growth stages. You thrive on cold out-bounding, working with an AE to win new logos, and you love it
- Experience: 2+ years’ in sales/business development within the SaaS space
- Stellar at communication: excellent listening and writing skills, confident engaging with technical C-level stakeholders e.g. CTO/CIO/CDO
- Start up readiness: A self-starter with a can-do attitude & proven track record of overachievement
- Pipeline Generation mindset: Pipe gen is everything, but you know that already. You’ll have sales enablement and all the tools you could wish for. It’s you that makes the difference though, so we expect you to be a PG stalwart
- Organised and skilled at prioritisation: You are disciplined in your processes, stage-gating your actions! You are meticulous in recording all of this in the CRM
- This role is remotely based in the US with expectation with expected semi regular travel to our HQ in Soho, London. Reasons for travel including onboarding, in person SKO, company retreats, etc
What the job involves
- In this dynamic role, you'll be a vital part of our team, charged with driving growth and expansion
- As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your mission is to identify and cultivate new accounts, making you the ultimate 'hunter' in our sales force
- You'll have the autonomy to select the companies you pursue, using your instincts to pinpoint the perfect fit
- In this role, you'll be at the forefront of identifying the best prospects, using a blend of outreach methods, and staying informed about the cutting edge of AI
- Account Planning and Territory Management: Crafting strategies to conquer your assigned territory, pinpointing high-potential prospects
- Cold Outreach: Engaging in proactive outreach, a blend of calls, LinkedIn messages, and emails, to initiate meaningful conversations and foster connections with potential clients
- Inbound Handling: Skill-fully navigating inbound leads while balancing your proactive outreach efforts
- AI Trends: Staying ahead of the curve by keeping a keen eye on the latest developments in the AI space
- Coordinating with Account Executives: Collaborating closely with our Account Executives (AEs) to ensure a seamless transition and maximise your partnership
- Project Involvement: Opportunities abound for you to participate in exciting projects, contributing your expertise to our ever-evolving solutions

Our take
AI is currently utilised across multiple industries, requiring companies to continuously collect, organise and label image data so that AI models will be able to adapt to new scenarios. V7 Labs is a computer vision platform that helps AI teams develop vision-based models that are learning continuously from training data with minimal human supervision.
V7 distinguishes itself in the market by condensing the most effective tools for organizing datasets into a single SaaS platform. The company says that using only 100 human-annotated examples in its toolkit can label the rest of the training data autonomously. Although its main business specialisations are in medicine and health sciences, its product is being picked up by tech companies in other sectors, and it now counts more than 300 customers including Siemens and GE Healthcare.
The startup has recently raised funding in a Series A round led by Radical Ventures and Temasek. It will use this investment to hire more engineering and sales talent, develop its product, and expand its market share.
