Honest Mobile was built because mobile networks needed a shake-up. Complicated contracts. Sneaky overcharges. Hold music that never ends. That was the industry standard, and nobody was doing much about it
So Honest started from scratch, on a mission to build a mobile network that's actually good for customers and good for the planet
Honest was founded to fight what customers were sick of. Smart SIM is where that fight gets practical. A backup eSIM that rides shotgun with a customer's main SIM, switching in with a couple of taps whenever signal drops or they land abroad. Unlimited data for 500+ essential apps, WhatsApp, Maps, Uber, Monzo and more, across all four major UK networks, plus free roaming in 180+ countries. No dead zones on the commute. No eye-watering roaming bills on holiday
And it doesn't stop at signal. Honest is a carbon-negative mobile network, taking more carbon out of the atmosphere than it puts in, and a certified B Corp, held to the same rigorous standards as some of the most trusted sustainable businesses in the world
The mobile industry is full of giants who've had decades to get the basics right (or wrong, depending who you ask). Honest is betting that customers want more than just a good deal, they want a network they can actually feel good about. That bet is paying off: over 100,000 customers have joined so far, backed by ÂŁ6.7M raised across three funding rounds since 2020. The team even walked away from Dragons' Den with two offers on the table
