What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in generating and qualifying leads for our sales team. You will be responsible for identifying potential customers, building relationships, and driving sales opportunities
- You will be at the forefront of the ever- evolving world of technology. You will work with the best experts and specialists in the industry to deliver cutting-edge products and solutions
- You will be responsible for sparking an initial relationship with clients, calling existing clients to maximise business and be instrumental in owning the all-important first step in the sales process
- It’s all about understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions that will truly make a difference in their business’
- The role is dynamic and fast paced and you will be part of a team who are focused on driving growth and expanding the company’s reach in the market
- It’s all about learning to make tactical decisions, identifying new business opportunities, and working towards achieving sales and KPI targets
- Booking Meetings: Outbound sales outreach through a multi-channel approach of cold calls, campaign calls, emails, social outreach and networking to book meetings for Sales Account Managers in the Commercial and Public Sector sales teams
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities for growth through engagement with a range of prospects and establishing genuine relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Sales Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the sales teams and other internal stakeholders to develop account-specific sales plans and strategies. Set ambitious sales targets (KPI and GM based), develop action plans, and monitor progress towards achieving sales objectives. Work in tandem with the Account Managers/Directors to manage sales pipeline, whilst maintaining impeccable administration and updating all activity on Hubspot
- Cross-selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Trustmarque's products and services in outreach
- Learning and Development: Taking part in company led, Vendor and Udemy development programmes/training
