Role
Who you are
- This is an intensive individual contributor role for someone who thrives on driving measurable results and shaping business success
- 5+ years of growth marketing experience, preferably in premium/luxury DTC brands
- Proven track record of scaling profitable customer acquisition programs
- Deep expertise in performance marketing across paid social, search, and emerging channels
- Experience marketing to affluent consumers with sophisticated taste
- Advanced proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, etc.)
- Expert-level knowledge of paid media platforms including Meta, Google, and TikTok
- Strong understanding of email marketing automation and CRM systems
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Refined aesthetic sensibility and understanding of luxury consumer psychology
- Outstanding analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments
- Exceptional communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities

What the job involves
- We are seeking an exceptional Growth Lead to drive Italic's continued evolution as a premium lifestyle brand
- As we redefine modern luxury through thoughtful design and uncompromising quality, this role will be instrumental in scaling our business while maintaining our brand's elevated positioning and strong unit economics
- Develop and execute sophisticated growth strategies that align with our premium positioning while driving profitable customer acquisition
- Lead data-driven initiatives across paid media, email, and organic channels while maintaining our elevated brand voice
- Design and implement testing frameworks to optimize conversion while preserving our luxury market positioning
- Partner with creative teams to ensure all growth initiatives reflect our French-inspired contemporary aesthetic
- Own key performance metrics including CAC, ROAS, and customer LTV across channels
- Build and optimize multi-channel campaigns targeting our core demographic of sophisticated professionals (28-45)
- Develop comprehensive reporting systems to track growth initiatives and inform strategic decisions
- Scale successful programs while maintaining strict profitability requirements
- Collaborate with product and merchandising teams to align growth strategies with new collection launches
- Partner with creative to ensure all acquisition materials reflect our intentionally designed, irreverent brand voice
- Work closely with finance to optimize spending and maintain profitable unit economics
- Guide email and CRM strategy to foster long-term relationships with our premium customer base

Italic is a contemporary brand that gives its users the chance to save up to 80% on goods from the world's top manufacturers. The platform showcases a wide variety of products, including everything from fashion to home décor.
What differentiates Italic from other discount shopping platforms is that it sources its products directly from manufacturers, rather than brands. For example, Italic showcases bags from the same factory that creates Miu Miu and Prada bags, which are unbranded. This allows Italic to offer its customers the same quality as luxury designer brands but at a fraction of the cost.
While Italic offers access to luxury products for less, the company faces the significant challenge of selling unbranded products to a market that is often obsessed with labels and brand identities. To address this, Italic provides perks such as free shipping, a gift concierge service, and 24-hour shopping support in order to attract and retain customers.
