What the job involves
- This role sits at the heart of CarTrawler’s North American partnerships, shaping long-term relationships with some of our most strategic partners
- With a strong focus on growth, performance and commercial excellence, the Senior Partner Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in unlocking new opportunities, strengthening collaboration and driving mutual success
- Working closely with trading, product and commercial leaders, this role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
- It’s an opportunity to influence outcomes, lead complex partner conversations and make a tangible impact on CarTrawler’s continued growth in North America
- Set the strategic direction for CarTrawler’s most important North American partnerships, shaping multi-year growth plans aligned to both partner ambitions and CarTrawler’s commercial objectives
- Lead joint business planning with senior partner stakeholders, translating market insight, performance data and opportunity analysis into clear, executable roadmaps
- Own the commercial health and sustainability of partner relationships, steering renewals and negotiations to protect long-term profitability while strengthening strategic alignment
- Act as the internal executive sponsor for key partners, aligning Trading, Product, Engineering and Commercial teams around shared priorities and outcomes
- Identify and unlock incremental growth opportunities across new products, touchpoints and operating models, influencing investment decisions and go-to-market approaches
- Provide strategic performance leadership through data-led storytelling, ensuring partners clearly understand results, trade-offs and future opportunities at both operational and executive level
- Travel to Partner QBRs, conferences, industry events and trade shows, ensuring CarTrawler is well represented and values are upheld

CarTrawler provides car rental and mobility solutions to travel industry players, allowing them to supplement their revenue and improve the experiences of their customers. It runs what is essentially a B2B marketplace for car rentals, through which airlines and travel agents can offer their clients end-to-end travel options.
The company has cemented its position within the industry through major partnerships and platform expansions. Most recently, Heathrow Airport selected CarTrawler to power the car rental offering on their website, giving customers access to thousands of suppliers and locations worldwide. The deal also reinforces CarTrawlers position as a leading B2B travel technology provider.
Alongside this, CarTrawler has attracted industry attention following reports that Expedia Group is exploring the potential acquisition or investment in the business. The speculation comes after a strong period of growth, with the company reportedly increasing adjusted EBITDA by 20% year-over-year in fiscal 2025 while continuing to expand its airline partner network, including Ryanair, American Airlines, Quantas, Etihad and Finnair. And a deal with Expedia would certainly place CarTrawler at the centre of the rapidly growing B2B travel technology market.
