Senior Product Manager, Welcome to the Jungle (formerly Otta)

• You’ve worked in fast-paced consumer tech scale-ups and know how to lead a squad to deliver impactful products while navigating complexity and change
• You’re excited to build products that help 2 million jobseekers worldwide find a workplace they truly connect with
• You take a pragmatic and grounded approach to solving problems and you can confidently own decisions with limited information, knowing when to lean on data, qualitative insights and your own instincts
• You are a low-ego and emotionally intelligent collaborator that can effectively build trust with both your team and stakeholders across the business
• You’re always keen to dive deep into data to support decisions, hone your intuition and identify new opportunities using tools like Amplitude, BigQuery or Contentsquare
• You’re a clear and compelling communicator, and can tailor your approach and style to collaborate with different levels and functions
• You can work closely with commercial teams – be it sales, customer success, growth or product marketing – to determine the product deliverables that will lead to meaningful commercial outcomes

Desirable

• You’ll report to our VP of Product and work in the Expansion team alongside another Product Manager, 2 product designers, and a team of Engineers and Engineering Managers led by an Engineering Director
• Welcome to the Jungle recently acquired Otta and we’re on an exciting journey to create a global leader in the world of work as part of an 80-people strong product and tech team spread across the UK and France
• Over the next 12 months, the team is focusing on: moving beyond job search to help candidates discover their perfect match company; scaling to new cities faster; finding product market fit in the US; reducing B2B churn and increasing revenue in the UK
• You’ll be a key player in driving this work from discovery to delivery, iterating at speed with ownership over significant portions of the team’s roadmap
• You’ll work in 8-week cycles to shape and build initiatives using our own version of Basecamp's Shape Up methodology. We take a common sense approach to agile ways of working, optimising for outcomes over processes
• You’ll understand and empathise with our candidates’ and companies’ needs, and make sure we’re always focusing on the biggest problems and opportunities
• You’ll work closely with leaders across our wider Expansion team (including our co-founder and co-CEO Jeremy), sales, customer success, operations and more

• 1. Initial interview to learn more about Welcome to the Jungle, and what you’re looking for next. This is a 45-minute call with Richa, our Talent Acquisition Manager
• 2. Take-home task (1 hour) - Our goal is to evaluate your written communication and analytical skills. We will not time the task, we simply ask you to spend no more than 1 hour on it
• 3. Product Sense interview with our VP of Product, Gabriel and our Sr. Product Designer, Janina (45 minutes)
• 4. Product Execution interview with members from the Expansion team (45 minutes)
• 5. Final interview with our UK Country Manager, Caroline to understand specific experience in your career where you would have demonstrated some key competencies (45 minutes)
