What the job involves

As a member of our Canoe Connect Business Team, the Data Operations Analyst will work closely with our teammates to help oversee complex processes which impact Canoe’s ability to sustain our document collection offering continuously
Leverage Canoe’s technology and data operations team to collect and deliver all of Canoe’s clients’ documents quickly and completely supporting our Canoe Connect product
Lead process changes and enhancements by documenting, driving and collaborating with team members to execute
Act as the primary point of contact with teammates by providing regular reporting, facilitating meetings
Help address operational issues, create awareness of challenges and troubleshoot as required
Collaborate with the Product team to develop long-term robust software solutions which address manual operations challenges
Act as the subject matter expert for questions relating to data completeness and monitor execution of processes and best practices among team members
Collaborate with client facing teams to understand and document client challenges to help improve product and operational offering

The internet presents itself as a seemingly infinite source of crucial information, particularly when it comes to financial information to inform smart investment. However, the sheer amount of data available makes it incredibly difficult to mine, aggregate and analyze in a way that is fast and efficient enough to be useful.

Canoe leverages AI technology to automate the analysis of investment data, including document collection, data extraction, categorization and validation. The technology is provided in the form of cloud-based tools, API packages and integrated portals, ultimately aiming to present a unified system in which investors can tackle the inefficiencies of manual investment data analysis.

It's undeniable that other automated data analysis services are available, but the unified nature of Canoe makes it stand out as a solution with a lot of potential. Off of 2024's Series C funding, the company is further optimizing and developing its product offerings and has recently launched an AI tech incubator, signalling clear ambition to lead as the next wave of data-driven innovation starts to take shape.
