Role
Who you are
- This individual is highly skilled and experienced with the Workday HRIS, specifically the core HR, Recruiting Payroll and Benefits modules
- This role requires a technical and detail-oriented individual who will work closely with IT throughout the employee lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
- At least 2+ years of experience with Workday, preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
- Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Strong project management skills and experience in managing projects
- Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, nested formulas, and understanding of logic functions)
- Ability to maintain employee confidentiality
What the job involves
- Progyny is looking for a People Analytics and HRIS Analyst to join our People team
- In partnership with the CHRO and the VP, People and DEI this individual will work on employee analytics projects that will enable the business to make data driven decisions
- Configure, maintain and, optimize the Workday HRIS to ensure accurate data management and reporting
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making
- Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for senior leadership and HR teams
- Translate business requirements into system updates and enhancements in the Workday HRIS
- Collaborate with HR teams to identify data needs, support HR projects, implement new workflows, troubleshoot system issues and improve processes
- Assist in the implementation of HRIS modules and upgrades, including testing and training staff
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations
- Provide analytical support to talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives
- Stay updated on HR technology trends and recommend improvements or new tools to enhance analytics capabilities
