Role
Who you are
- 5–10+ years of experience in software QA, ideally testing web and/or mobile applications in a startup or consumer-facing environment
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, web driver, Selenium or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and bug reporting
- Experience with accessibility testing and passionate about inclusive, user-centered experiences
- Skilled in documenting clear, reproducible steps and collaborating across product and engineering teams
- Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello)
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent communicator—can explain issues in plain language for technical and non-technical team members
- Resourceful, proactive, and excited to ensure our products are as friendly, robust, and accessible as possible
What the job involves
- This position is open to Full-Time Employment. Candidates must be able to dedicate consistent availability and maintain active collaboration during standard business hours, regardless of location
- Define, build, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile experiences
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and usability
- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and incidents; track them through resolution and release
- Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and product managers to review new features, offering input on potential risks, quality standards, and edge cases
- Own the regression, smoke, and performance testing cycles for every release
- Ensure products adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and are user-friendly for people of varied abilities
- Champion best practices in quality assurance, test automation, and continuous improvement within the team
- Proactively suggest process and workflow improvements to drive greater product reliability
