Who you are

- The Vice President of Design Engineering will spearhead the conceptualization, design, and execution of our next-generation products
- This role requires a unique blend of artistic vision, technical acumen, and leadership qualities to guide the Design Engineering department towards groundbreaking innovation
- Leadership and Team Building: Assemble, lead, and mentor a top-tier team of design engineers, industrial designers, and CAD specialists
- Strategic Design Vision: Develop and implement a strategic vision for product design that aligns with the company's overall objectives
- Product Development: Oversee the design engineering lifecycle, from concept sketches to functional prototypes and mass production
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Hardware, Software, and Product Management teams to integrate designs into the overall product portfolio
- Design Reviews: Conduct rigorous design reviews to ensure products meet specifications, quality standards, and user needs
- Supplier Relations: Engage with materials suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness
- Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact
- Innovation and IP: Drive innovation and the development of intellectual property related to design engineering
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce best practices in design engineering to maintain high quality and safety standards
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate design engineering initiatives, milestones, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders
