Role
Who you are
- A creative, ambitious designer who wants to work in a category defining technology space and is attracted to working across both marketing and product workstreams
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of marketing and UI/UX design projects
- Proficiency in Figma
- Solid understanding of branding, marketing principles, and user-centered design
- Ability to interpret data and performance metrics to inform design decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience working in a tech startup or dynamic company
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development principles
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
What the job involves
- To conceptualize and deliver creative and compelling design that builds upon Quorso’s reputation for brand and design excellence across both marketing and product
- The role will be split approximately 40% on product design and 60% on marketing design, though this may shift based on team demands
- Develop and expand on the foundations laid from our recent rebrand to ensure our brand is clearly and consistently articulated across all channels
- Conceptualise and execute creative ideas and campaigns for various mediums, including digital, print, social media, blogs, and events
- Collaborate with content teams to deliver eye-catching creative assets, including static images, motion graphics, and in-person materials
- Use performance data to create designs that drive higher reach and engagement, continuously pushing boundaries and learning from outcomes
- Assist in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring a user-centric approach
- Create designs for new features and improvements
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of your designs
- Help manage and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms
- Document design guidelines, components, and patterns for use by the entire design and development team
- Advocate for best practices in design and accessibility, ensuring a high standard across all deliverables
- Facilitate design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and stakeholders

- Part 1: Initial Chat with the Design Lead & Marketing Lead (20 minutes)
- Objective: To get to know each other and assess cultural fit
- Introduction: A brief introduction of Quorso, its mission, and the design team
- Candidate Background: Discuss the candidate's background, interests, and what motivates them
- Cultural Fit: Explore the candidate’s values and how they align with Quorso’s culture
- Q&A: Allow the candidate to ask any questions they have about the company or the role
- Preparation: No preparation needed. Just bring yourself and be ready for an open conversation
- Part 2: Portfolio Review and Product Demonstration (75 minutes)
- Objective: To evaluate the candidate’s design skills and introduce them to Quorso’s product
- Portfolio Presentation (45 minutes):
- The candidate will present 1-2 projects from their portfolio
- Discuss the design process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented
- Focus on both the creative and technical aspects of their work
- Product Demonstration (15 minutes):
- A member of the Quorso team will provide an overview of our product
- Highlight key features, the design process, and the team’s approach to user experience
- Q&A Session (15 minutes):
- Open the floor for the candidate to ask questions about the product, team, and design practices at Quorso
- Address any specific queries the candidate may have about the role or company
- Preparation: The candidate should be ready to present and discuss 1-2 projects from their portfolio in detail
- Part 3: Founder interview (60 mins)
- Objective: Assess your cultural fit with our outstanding team
- Founder discussion (30 mins) understand your goals and motivations
- Company questions (30 mins) you’re chance to ask founders about our strategy, focus etc
