Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering university program, in Computer Science or related field
Familiarity with Hardware Abstraction Layer for embedded systems
Knowledge of buses, bus drivers and peripheral devices in embedded systems
Proficiency with GitHub
Experience in one or more environments (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, etc.)
Proficiency with Python or C/C++

We are hiring an Intern for our Platform Software team at Lightmatter

With modern human progress relying heavily on computers, the world has hit a dead end with traditional transistors, and the prospect of constantly building data centers is an environmental nightmare
Lightmatter has created a solution in photonic computing: using photons instead of electrons to take advantage of their higher bandwidth
We build chips for artificial intelligence computing. Our architecture leverages the unique properties of light to enable fast and efficient inference and training engines
Contribute to enhancing the CI/CD workflow for projects underway, making use of your embedded experience
Incorporate Development Kit hardware test workflows into the software review and approval process
Write and debug integration tests for embedded code
Contribute to production software and firmware code bases
