Who you are
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) preferred
- 7+ years of professional experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a similar role
- Experience in a fast-paced technology environment, ideally supporting executive leadership
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence at all levels
- High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across diverse teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or adjacent technology fields is a plus
- Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite) and project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Notion)
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal Strategy & Operations Manager - Artificial Intelligence, to partner with our Vice President of AI, ensuring operational excellence and driving alignment across the AI organization
- This role is essential in helping scale the impact of the VP and the broader team, blending strategic foresight, organizational acumen, and outstanding execution
- You will act as a trusted advisor, manage cross-functional priorities, and ensure the seamless flow of information and operations
- This is a high-impact role for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a passion for technology and innovation, and excels at balancing strategic vision with tactical execution
- Collaborate closely with the VP to set and execute strategic goals, initiatives, and priorities for the AI organization
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making
- Act as a thought partner, helping identify challenges and opportunities for growth and innovation
- Drive operational efficiency by streamlining processes and ensuring organizational alignment
- Oversee OKR (Objectives and Key Results) tracking and reporting to ensure the team remains on target
- Prepare the VP for key meetings, including creating agendas, presentations, and follow-up actions
- Serve as a key liaison between the VP, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring alignment and clarity across initiatives
- Craft communications, updates, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Lead and manage high-priority projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality execution
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts, collaborating with product, engineering, operations, and other teams to deliver on goals
- Act as a cultural ambassador, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative environment
- Identify and address team needs proactively, ensuring the team has the resources and support to succeed
