Our take

Rarely does a construction site run smoothly, with countless obstacles appearing unexpectedly. Koppla prepares workers for these surprises. A large construction site sees many different companies operating, which can become difficult for construction management and lead to higher costs due to longer construction times. By offering a digital and automate solution, Koppla’s software helps management create faster, cheaper and more sustainable construction sites.

There are certainly other players in the construction site optimisation field, such as Munich’s Capmo and Berlin’s Cosuno. Though Koppla is unique in their application of the lean methodology in the construction industry. Lean construction management has a reliable history, known for enabling more efficient planning and organization and better on-site communication.

Koppla plans to put new funding into expanding the technical aspects of their model, as well as making new hires in the tech and sales department as it continues to ambitiously target the top 1,000 construction companies and real estate developers in DACH countries.
