Lantern (formerly Employer Direct Healthcare/EDH) offers specialty healthcare solutions, such as surgery, cancer care, and now infusion therapy, to elf-funded employers and their employees. And it negotiates bundled pricing and coordinated care with vetted medical providers to keep costs down without compromising quality.
It serves over 6M members across hundreds of self-funded plans and about 1,000 employer clients (including multiple Fortune 500 companies and public-sector entities). Alongside this, it's curated a "Network of Excellence" with over 3,000 surgeons and oncologists and over 1,5000 facility partners nationwide.
In 2023, substantial growth capital from Insight Partners verified Lantern as a Unicorn. This investment has helped the firm grow its client base as well as expand its suite of products moving forwards, supporting over 60,000 patients on their care journeys, with nearly 40,000 in just the past two years alone.
