Our take

Nory’s AI and automation software allows restaurants to more easily take control of common pain points like inventory, staffing, and marketing, all on one platform. With thin margins, stretched teams and high levels of waste, Nory was founded by a seasoned restaurant founder and scaler, who knows all too well how juggling "market-leading" systems can become a headache for restaurant managers. Indeed, he even built an early version of Nory for his own restaurant.

What makes Nory a particularly interesting prospect is the value that it can offer multi-site restaurants or chains, given its ability to collect data on each location at once. It melds real-time data with AI predictive analytics so that operators can regain control of their profit. It’s this certainty of purpose and value that’s helped Nory get off to a flying start, securing a rapidly growing customer base including Stonegate Pubs, Dr Juice and Viva Italia.

Having raised a significant amount of capital, most recently in a May 2025 Series B round, Nory has grown its team and expanded from Ireland and the UK into Spain as well. It's using its funding to expand into the US, hire data scientists and accelerate its product development. As the hospitality industry struggles with high costs and low margins, Nory's solution will be increasingly essential for restaurants seeking to optimise their operations and turn a profit.
