Its platform helps the underserved SME market to manage freight bids, quotes, shipment status and carrier performance. Its broker-agnostic system also means that freight shipping companies can balance their pricing and service needs with the requirements of these SMEs as they bid for their space.
Portex has enjoyed steady growth since its founding in 2020. In 2024, it was reported that the company was on track to reach $100 million in annualized freight booking. It has also raised considerable funding that has helped to accelerate its AI product development.
