Our take

As increasingly more consumers pivot online, the need for high quality digital content is more important than ever. Developer talent is thin on the ground, however, and that’s throttling the speed and quality of production. Prismic’s answer? Offer a platform where developers can code customized no-code web builders, so non-developer colleagues can get on with web content development independently.

Developers can use Prismic to create recyclable website sections, called slices, which serve as a kind of menu for non-developer teams like marketing to rapidly build out high-quality, uniformly branded page content. It’s something like your familiar Wordpress web template tool, but without the rigid templates and full-page design restrictions.

Prismic’s been quietly dominating a substantial slice of the North American market over the decade since its launch. In fact, chances are you’ve been on a Prismic-designed site sometime in the past month. It’s being used by major customers from McDonalds, to Vice, to Spotify, to The New York Times. Which is testament to the quality, and most importantly the scalability, of the solution it offers. If it can continue to net these major enterprise clients, it’s set to become an enterprise CMS industry standard.
