Transmit Security is a customer identity and access management (CIAM) platform that is on a mission to rid the world of passwords. Organizations lose millions every year due to unsafe password-based authentication - with weak passwords accounting for 80% of all data breaches.
The company offers a developer-friendly platform that provides passwordless authentication, fraud detection, and identity verification. Whilst the company serves many of the world’s largest banks, insurers and retailers, being collectively responsible for more that $2T in annual commerce, it is not without competitors. Both Microsoft and Apple have developed password-free authentication.
Nonetheless, Transmit Security has undoubtedly carved out significant space in the market.
