Automation has been effecting substantial digital change across dozens of industries - and sales is no different. Honesysales is one of many companies looking to furnish sales reps with cutting edge tools. Its goal is particularly ambitious, however: drawing together various new sales automation trends that are already bringing other salestech startups substantial success.
Companies like Leadiro and PredictLeads focus on automating the lead generation aspect of the job; Drip Scripts focuses on generating customer email content; Chili Piper streamlines the meeting booking process - but honeysales aims to do all of the above. It’s a big goal given that the sales tools market is dominated already by key players like Zapier and Salesforce, and intensely crowded with startup competitors. As a fledgling company itself, honeysales will need to remain sharply competitive to stand out.
The team is off to a strong start though, having secured seed funding at the start of 2023. Offering a more comprehensive spread of tools under a single platform may prove attractive to sales teams looking to tackle SaaS bloat. Additionally, automation is expected to play an increasingly prominent role in sales over the coming years. It may prove a lucrative slice of the market that Honeysales is playing for.
