Who you are

Experienced at building beautiful, functional, consumer facing web apps
2+ years of full stack or front end development experience
Proficient with Typescript, and ReactJS
Experienced at collaborating with designers to create and improve designs
You are confident working from ideas or wireframes when designer time is limited
Some experience with a variety of APIs and SQL / NoSQL databases
Working knowledge of AWS or other cloud providers

Desirable

Experience with, or interest in, building mobile apps with React Native
Some experience with, or interest in, creating simple mock ups in figma
You have a working understanding of product analytics and use this to improve UX/UI experiences
Experience in contributing to system design and assisting in technical decisions

What the job involves

Collaborating with our designer to design and prototype features in Figma
Building, maintaining and improving our web and mobile apps - including a new custom ticket booking site, launching this year
Collaborating with our technical lead on our APIs and AWS cloud infra
Continuously learning about our users, using insights from analytics, interviews, etc, to improve UX and key metrics
Writing high-quality, performant, maintainable and tested code.
Helping to make our apps resilient to poor network connectivity - our live events take place in a green-field site with inconsistent wifi/4g!
Communicating and collaborating with the team, keeping everyone up to date with milestones, risks, and statuses.

Wildkind is the company behind Camp Wildfire, an adults-only part summer camp, part festival experience that was established in 2015. It also created Camp Kindling, a family edition of the event, as well as a "Winter retreat" version for adults, each of which boasts a long list of daytime activity options, music, and other live entertainment.
