Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have relevant healthcare consultative sales experience with payers, and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets
- You are passionate about transforming our healthcare system and believe that leveraging Artificial Intelligence in healthcare services can help with current big industry problems. You will be directly helping our customers to reinvent their own business models by harnessing the power of Curai Health
- You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex businesses, and meaningful ways to influence and engage with health plans
- You will drive process improvement, work in ambiguous environments, and earn trust across stakeholders and backgrounds
- You are unafraid to play at the 30,000 foot level and the 1 foot level
- 5+ years quota-carrying sales experience at a digital health, health tech or healthcare services business with documented quota achievement
- Deep insights into the payer ecosystem, main stakeholders and trends
- Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft business proposals, build compelling business cases, and present to senior executives
- The ability to research, identify, pitch and close new business deals coupled with strong analytical and account management skills is required
- High emotional intelligence and experience influencing purchase decisions in collaboration with others
- Skills required to build relationships include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all customer's needs
- A long-term mindset that understands the importance of investing in and adding value to payers early in their lifecycle to earn their trust and loyalty
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree
- Position may require the ability to travel 25% to 40% of the time, as needed
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Sales Executive focused on payers nationwide to join our Sales team.
- This individual will drive growth in this market segment as part of Curai’s commercialization efforts
- Health plans have unique needs, priorities, and partner models that distinguish them from traditional businesses and require different engagement strategies and sales motions
- As Curai begins to grow rapidly, we seek a Sales Executive to own, operate and define strategy for a defined territory as well as drive revenue
- This sales executive will align closely with business development to drive strategic support, and sales operations to help drive top of funnel outcomes and accelerate selling in the field
- The Payer Sales Executive will be responsible for being on top of the latest payer trends, especially primary care, product and artificial intelligence (AI) strategies
- Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a strategic approach to each stage of the sales process
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within health plans, including C-level executives, clinical leadership, and IT/operations teams. This role requires high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Implementations, and Product, to ensure that the sales strategy aligns with Curai’s broader goals and that customer needs are met effectively. The role demands a collaborative mindset to drive results and advocate for customers
- Reporting: Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, deal progression, and revenue impact. Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
- Driving Revenue: Meet or exceed targets for the adoption of Curai Health solutions with health plans and TPAs. The Sales Executive will be responsible for setting a go-to-market strategy, executing daily to grow the customer base, and ensuring that Curai’s solutions are effectively communicated and positioned in the market
- Strategic Influence: Stay on top of the latest payer trends, especially those related to primary care, product innovation, and AI strategies. Use this knowledge to drive process improvements and influence Curai’s long-term strategy for the health plan market

Curai aims to integrate technology into human processes so it can complement how doctor's work. It is a chat-based platform that uses artificial intelligence to help them make better and quicker decisions. Doctor's who see patients still have to operate electronic health records, which can be time consuming. Curai's algorithm scans through medical records and organizes key points in seconds. By leveraging AI to increase productivity, they plan to make the cost of care lower.
Curai Health is partly backed by billionaire venture capitalist Vinod Khosla, the father of the co-founder and CEO, Neal Khosla. The company has partnered with WorkWhile, an hourly labor marketplace, to provide free access to telehealth services for workers on its platform. Securing more key partnerships such as this will be a key factor in its future success.
