Every project I've worked on so far has been challenging in a good way, and I always find myself improving and learning new skills. Being responsible for large parts of features and the design process from start to finish allowed me to grow in many different ways.

The product is fairly complex and most features have a lot of moving parts to them. There are so many details to think about and consider, which is challenging, but also a lot of fun. I don't think we'll be running out of things to do anytime soon.

It's exciting to see how quickly the company has been growing. It's not difficult to imagine our product being the go to tool for many different types of creators in not too distant future.

Team members are open to mentoring and coaching new joiners. They are inclusive and helpful all the time, which makes the team work a lot effectively.

The management team put a reasonable effort into making every team member feel included and helping to build a solid and efficient career development.

Every day you learn something new. Managers encourage their teams to develop and work to build applicable learning opportunities into day-to-day workloads. Learning is very much a part of the culture and is celebrated company-wide.

My colleagues are a smart group. While we're a smaller company, everywhere you turn, there are industry experts, specialists and general smart cookies to lean on to find solutions to problems. Everyone is great at sharing that knowledge, bringing us all up together.

Komi is growing so quickly. I joined just after our platform launched and we've seen the team double in the last nine months. It's so exciting to grow in my role as the company expands and we reach new growth challenges. Every day is exciting.

As a startup, there is not the traditional hierarchy that can be rigid and tedious to follow. Instead you can really take the opportunity to learn from everyone in the team and lean into areas that you want to develop more, especially outside of your stated job role/function.

Management is super supportive, not just in professional growth, but personal as well. Communication is great here, and there's a lot of opportunities to be authentic and to work with your manager rather than having a manager who adheres to traditional linear hierarchies.
