Hazel Health is the largest telehealth provider for K-12 schools, helping to improve access to both physical and mental healthcare services for students. The company provides healthcare access to over 1.5 million children across the US, with the goal of providing for 78 million students.

With the global telehealth market growing rapidly, Hazel Health has had the opportunity to grow massively since founding in 2015. However, a loss of federal funding for many of its partners has seen it lose some big clients, with other contracts set to expire imminently.

To combat this, the company has made significant cuts to staff as it restructures with the hope to secure more sustainable sources of income - such as billing Medicaid and private insurance. Only time will tell if these changes can get Hazel Health back on track.
