Role
Who you are
- Proven Expertise: 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimising Google Ads campaigns, including PMAX
- Analytical Acumen: Strong skills in Google Analytics, GA4, and data interpretation to drive actionable insights
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated ability in keyword research, account restructuring, and advanced bidding techniques
- Result-Oriented: History of meeting and exceeding KPIs like CPA and ROAS
- Collaboration: Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional team collaboration, especially with creative and content teams
Desirable
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and marketing automation tools
- Experience in regulated or customer-sensitive industries, such as healthcare or funeral services
- Knowledge of SEO to support integrated campaigns
What the job involves
- PPC Campaign Strategy & Management
- Design, implement, and manage PPC campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and PMAX, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Perform thorough keyword research to identify growth opportunities and refine targeting strategies
- Optimise account structure for efficiency and scalability, ensuring campaigns align with industry best practices
- Experiment with and refine bidding methodologies to maximise ROAS and CPA performance
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide actionable insights through detailed analytics
- Utilise Google Analytics and GA4 for comprehensive traffic, conversion, and attribution analysis
- Deliver concise, visually compelling reports to communicate performance and strategic adjustments
- Creative & Landing Page Optimisation
- Collaborate with the content and web teams to design, test, and iterate landing pages for improved conversion rates
- Implement A/B testing strategies to refine user experiences and maximize campaign effectiveness
- Budget Management & Forecasting
- Strategically allocate and monitor budgets to achieve optimal ROI
- Forecast expenditure and performance to align with business objectives
- Innovation & Industry Awareness
- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in digital advertising, particularly Google Ads innovations
- Test new ad formats, platforms, and features to maintain a competitive edge

Our take
In the past, the majority of people have not prepared for death. However, in recent years, an increasing number of people are talking and planning for it as one of life’s key events. Funerals shifting towards meaningful celebration of life parties is a prime example of this.
Aura is an online platform where people facing end of life can leave an online legacy for their loved ones. It was founded in 2017 by Paul Jameson after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease, but wanted to embrace life, plan ahead and leave his family in the best position possible.
Since then it has helped thousands of people tackle their hardships and is now run by Jameson’s family. The company has grown to offer celebration of life funeral planning, end of life support and the Aura Circle (a digital community of 30k people). With an important mission, Aura has great potential to build a significant business that impacts lots of people.
