Our take

The UK homeless crisis saw a 91% increase in people sleeping rough between 2021 and 2024. HSPG is a property investment portfolio that focuses on social impact property investments that deliver lasting outcomes for vulnerable people.

Building up from a single property that the founders bought and rented to a homeless family, all below market value, HSPG has since expanded to meet both residents' and investors' needs through a social housing project pipeline. It's 2020 secured revolving credit facility of £30 million from Together Money has helped it invest more than £100 million into the social housing sector.

Having opened offices in London, HSPG is expanding out of its native Manchester. It’s a win-win for both property investors and vulnerable residents, and an exciting and pioneering prospect for the social housing sector.
