Our take

As more and more data privacy laws are passed, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU, and its US equivalents such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the process of negotiating data collection from inter-connected sources has become an increasingly laborious task.

DataGrail helps businesses navigate and comply with data privacy regulations, allowing them to gain customer trust through transparency. Its platform automatically finds a company’s data and organizes it into a single dash which allows its customers to understand and manage its data in a compliant way. This is a wise move as around 70% of web users are now concerned about how personal data is used, particularly on mobile apps, and this concern is being reflected in tougher regulations with enormous penalties for non-compliance.

After closing its oversubscribed Series C funding round in 2022, the company is focusing on developing its product with additional integrations, and also increasing its headcount with an aim to double its workforce. With significant venture capital backing and clients including New Balance, Instacart, and Salesforce, DataGrail is will set to continue its rapid growth.
