Founding Account Executive, Ploy

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a closing role, ideally within the technology or SaaS space.
• You know how to generate your own pipeline, through outbound activity and you've had to do this in your recent roles.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in environments where you can help shape the future of the business. The idea of figuring out our GTM strategy, positioning, and running deals excites you.
• You’re resilient and adaptable. Selling here will be tough, and you’re prepared for the challenge, understanding that building something from scratch comes with bumps along the way.
• You’re curious, experimental, and always looking to improve. You don’t just want to be the best salesperson—you want to learn about startups, GTM strategy, and everything in between.
• You aren’t primarily motivated by money; you’re driven by the opportunity to grow, build, and own your role in a high-impact startup environment.

Desirable

• You will take ownership of the entire sales process, from generating your own pipeline, building demos, running PoCs, negotiating legals and closing deals.
• You’ll work hand-in-hand with the CEO to shape the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, refine our target market, and develop our sales messaging. Your insights will play a key role in helping us position ourselves effectively.
• You’ll need to wear multiple hats, actively engaging with customers, prospects, partners, and employees.
• Every day will be different: one day you might be setting up proof of concepts for a prospect, the next day handling a customer renewal or refining outreach strategies, and then analyzing which experiments worked best.
• This is a high-collaboration environment. You’ll work closely with the 4 of us. We're a small dedicated team completely aligned to 1 goal.
• Building your own pipeline will be a big part of your success. But you won't be on your own, we all do outbound (including Engineers) everyday and the CEO will be in the trenches with you.

• 1. Screening Interview (30 minutes) with CEO

• 3. Meet the team (3 x 20 minutes interviews)
