Our take

The internet provides an excellent platform for creators and organizations to host educational content, with many people selling courses, online workshops, or providing educational videos. However, whilst there are plenty of platforms to host such content, it is far more difficult to find ways to engage audiences in similar ways to in-person educational scenarios.

Disco provides an end-to-end platform for the building, marketing, scaling, and selling of online educational content, providing a range of specialized features such as communication tools, custom branding pages, and membership systems. In addition to providing its platform to creators, it also partners creators with Disco Studios, curating live learning experiences within its educational community.

Whilst many virtual education platforms have appeared since the social restrictions of COVID-19, Disco has taken a unique position by focusing on providing an all-in-one toolkit for creators. Furthermore, the company has taken an accessible approach to pricing by making the platform free for small creators with a 10% commission fee, whilst Pro and Organization pricing tiers are commission-free but subscription-based.
