We are building a product to support the energy transition by supervising the low voltage grids. Every day we build new innovative features.

All of us are very smart and open minded. Most people have a technical background like electrical engineering. Everyone is driven to build a super product.

We have flexible working hours. We can work from home or in the office in cologne. All meetings are remote. We can work 3 month from all countries in the world.

I joined envelio because I knew that if we want to speed up the energy transition and the adoption of renewable energy resource we need to upgrade our electricity grids. It is awesome to see how we are increasingly colouring the world map with electricity lines with every onboarded customer.

There is a great sense of ownership at envelio. Thanks to multidisciplinary teams we are able to act on our responsibilities. Thanks to that there exists a close exchange within the team where everybody gets involved such that ideas and solutions have much depth despite being mainly remote teams

No matter if you like to be in the office, work from home or occasionally from the beach, each working style is being accommodated at envelio. Moreover, as a parent I value very much the possibility to balance family life with work and it certainly helps that there are many other young parents in my team.

The energy grid is undergoing enormous change! Envelio is pioneering this change by enabling operates to adapt processes, planning and operating the grid. This has real impact in the energy transition and our solutions are asked for a reason!

Everyone at the company knows whats at stake. You will always find a listening ear for what is going great and what maybe not so much. And then we actually do something about it, together!

There is nothing more motivating than seeing your peers working focused and engaged. People at Envelio are creating an environment of being welcome and also know when its time to have great fun at and after work!

There is a weekly time budget (part of your work hours!) and a yearly monetary budget given to every permanent employee to use for learning new skills or topics (as they please). For example, I have a paid subscription to a learning platform for coding, while others like one-time courses paid for, or getting books provided to them. Also, it is possible for you to choose what you would like to work on depending on what interests you. Your interests and passions drive your work, not the other way around

Honesty and transparency are important to envelio, and this is shown in every level or aspect of communication, from the largest all-hands meeting communicating the achievements, downfalls, improvements and concerns, to the one-on-one meetings where a safe space is created and the employee can voice how they are REALLY doing. In the engineering department, we have a blameless process of going over mistakes, even major ones, instead, it is openly communicated what happened and what we can learn from this situation.

I joined envelio because I wanted to somehow contribute to the energy transition while diving into a tech-based industry, and envelio does just that. By digitalizing the tedious processes of monitoring, planning, and operating electrical grids, a faster integration of renewable energy generation, charging stations, and heat pumps is made possible. The best part is that you often hear quantitative results and feedback from customers, proving that your personal contribution, somewhere along the way, made a difference.
