There are many friction points for patients in the dentistry industry, from anxiety to lack of trust in specialists and affordability. Toothfairy is setting out to change this by creating an app that diagnoses and treats patients remotely using its proprietary technology.
The startup differentiates itself through its patent-pending technology that allows patients to upload a picture of their teeth in order to receive a diagnosis and a treatment plan specially designed for them by a UK dentist. Toothfairy's services currently include teeth straightening, emergencies, and whitening.
The startup aims to democratize teeth health by providing a service that is much cheaper than traditional dental clinic costs. The dental app is approved by the NHS and over 90% of its current users are using it to reduce their need to visit clinics for dental advice.
