Who you are
- We’re looking for a Product Manager who’s excited to work on complex, high-impact problems at the heart of our platform and eager to make a meaningful difference
- If you enjoy digging into ambiguity, making hard prioritization calls, and shipping products that matter, you’ll feel right at home here
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management or a closely related role (Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, or Project Management)
- Experience working on data-driven or evaluation-based products (bonus if you’ve worked on hiring, skills, or measurement-heavy solutions)
- Strong SaaS experience and comfort working cross-functionally
- A bias toward action paired with thoughtful prioritization
- Clear communication skills and the ability to influence without authority
- Curiosity, empathy, and a desire to keep learning

- You’ll help evolve products that balance innovation, fairness, and real-world impact—all in a fast-moving SaaS environment
- Turn Hirevue’s strategy and customer problems into clear product direction by partnering with Design, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Finance, and Customer Success
- Define and own a compelling product vision and roadmap that balances near-term customer value with long-term platform growth
- Lead ideas from “what if?” to “it’s live,” including hypothesis creation, discovery, requirements, prototyping, delivery, and post-launch learning
- Work closely with Product Design and Engineering to craft intuitive, scalable experiences that customers love and candidates trust
- Own backlog prioritization and make thoughtful trade-offs using customer insight, data, and business impact
- Keep teams aligned and moving through planning sessions, standups, backlog refinement, and readiness reviews
- Partner with Product Marketing and Operations to launch new capabilities, including positioning, pricing and packaging, forecasting, and enablement
- Take ownership of product areas or themes, with accountability for adoption, retention, and outcomes
- Define and track success metrics, learn from what’s working (and what’s not), and continuously improve
- Share product strategy, roadmap updates, and insights with leadership and cross-functional partners
- Support teams and customers through training, documentation, and the occasional deep-dive conversation
- Deliver high-quality work with growing autonomy, while leaning into feedback and collaboration
- Your work will impact real hiring decisions and real people

- This position is a work-from-home role. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings
Our take
Companies are facing increasing competition to attract job seekers and therefore need new ways to make interviewing processes more accessible. Hirevue does exactly this, working with companies to conduct video interviews - live or recorded - that are scheduled around a candidate’s availability.
In order to do so, the company has deployed the use of artificial intelligence, which assesses and scores a candidate based on skills like problem-solving and communication. This not only doubles the number of interviews and hires that a company can make (in less than half the time) but improves candidate quality. For this reason, companies like Amazon and Unilever deploy its services to scale and accelerate their hiring processes, a great reflection of the quality of Hirevue's offering.
The company has met criticism, however, with some claiming its analysis of factors like facial movements, word choice or speaking voice is simply a blend of superficial measurements and arbitrary number-crunching that could be seen as unfair discrimination. Despite this, Hirevue does seem to have found an interesting angle into the fruitful hiring industry and will look to expand its position over the coming years.
