Our take

LemonEdge is the first low-code development platform designed for financial services. With low-code predicted to quadruple in value by 2024, the company is well-positioned to enjoy considerable growth over the coming years.

LemonEdge is a disruptor specialising in back- and middle-office technologies. Its tools are designed specifically for financial services. LemonEdge's fully customised platforms and single applications can be built 80% quicker than more traditional approaches, and can manage complex accounting processes financial data and transactions.

CEO Gareth Hewitt previously founded and sold two successful start-ups, and this proven reputation appeals greatly to investors. The company seeks to shake up the previously stagnant sector of back and middle-office technology. LemonEdge is a new and promising competitor compared to the industry's existing legacy providers and has enjoyed several rounds of funding from the likes of TechNation.

Benefits

  • Funded Start-Up: Whether you’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, tired of the boardroom politics, or simply have a desire to help shape a culture. As a start-up we give you an experience hard to replicate elsewhere… and with our Seed round funding, we have the resources to move with pace.
  • Flexible Working: Everyone says it. Then it comes with conditions. We live it. You’ll have a clear job mission, deliverables, a team (to lead or contribute towards) and great clients. If you can tick those off, work when is good for you.
  • Working from home / Travel: We launched at the start of the pandemic and it has reinforced our view we don’t need an office. We might buy into a shared space for client meetings in the future. But for now, your home is your office. We have global clients and if you’re in a client-facing role, when we can, you’ll be off across Europe and North America.
  • Competitive Package: You support us. We’ll back you. We want the best in the business, to challenge our thinking and drive our growth. If you have our passion, we’ll ensure you’re well supported.
  • Work isn’t everything: Working in a start-up means it can be all-in. (We’ll not hide from that..). It means when we can, we need to unwind. When we can get together, we’ll be celebrating in style.
